Extraordinary QuickBooks Bookkeeper Please Read Ad Before Applying!! We are a successful, growing, woman owned accounting services firm with clients and employees throughout the US. We provide bookkeeping, payroll and business consulting services to small and mid-size businesses. We are seeking an exceptional, experienced, tech savvy bookkeeper to join us in creating amazing outcomes for our clients and professional enrichment for our team members. • *Please carefully read through this ad and follow ALL instructions or you will not be considered!** This is a part-time to full-time, remote position, with flexible hours and consistent pay. You will be assigned clients and projects with deadlines, but the specific times you work will be up to you. However, you must be available weekdays during daytime hours for some of your daily responsibilities. This should be you primary job, so if you have other gigs, or other clients, this is NOT a good fit for you to pick up some extra part-time work. We are growing rapidly so the potential for full-time work exists, if you so desire, and we will be adding more positions as we continue to grow. (If you saw this ad previously, we had actually filled the positions and need one or two more.) Primary Areas of Responsibility Include: 1. Direct client bookkeeping of multiple, assigned accounts 2. On-boarding of new clients including collecting essential information, clean-ups, setting them up in systems such as QuickBooks, Bill.com and Double 3. Review and analysis of client financial reports 4. Daily on-call support of other bookkeeping staff. Daily Duties May Include • Managing accounts payable and accounts receivable • Managing and reconciling bank statements, credit cards statements and payment processing systems • New account clean-ups, sometimes from a shoe box of unsorted receipts and dog-eared statements • Creating and presenting financial reports to your clients • Payroll processing for multiple clients using Gusto • Organizing, systematizing and documenting processes and procedures • Working with the team to manage deadlines and project goals • QuickBooks support for other team members and clients • Mastering apps such as QuickBooks Time, Bill.com, Keeper and SmartVault • Assisting in operational efforts and other projects as needed Qualifications and Requirements: • If you are a Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor, experienced with cloud accounting apps and working in an remote setting with multiple clients, you will go to the front of the line! • High level proficiency with multiple versions of QuickBooks (QuickBooks Online is a MUST) and Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook, OneNote & Teams) • Deep experience in full-charge bookkeeping, with multiple clients, and solid knowledge of basic accounting principles. (Yes there will be a assessment test to apply.) • Ability to create and interpret financial reports such as balance sheets, income statements, P&Ls, cash flows, etc. • Experience with 3rd party payment and POS providers such as Shopify, Stripe, PayPal, Square, and / or Melio • Very tech savvy - comfortable using and learning the newest accounting and office technologies. • A strong working knowledge of payroll processing. • Experience working in a multiple client environment. • You need to be efficient, productive, self-motivated and comfortable working at your home using online technologies. • Hyper-organized, able to handle a large variety of projects and tasks and make sure nothing slips between the cracks. • Meticulous degree of accuracy and attention to detail. • Third Party Application experience. • Resourceful and solution oriented, able to figure out how to get new projects and tasks done. • Well-spoken and articulate in communicating professionally and informally over the phone, on video conferences, in person, and in writing. • High integrity, completely trustworthy and utterly reliable. • Comfortable working either independently and within a team. • Committed to professional and personal growth. • A positive mental attitude is essential. • You should go back to the top of this list and make sure this fits YOU!
