Director of Product – Retail Investing Platform

Job Description: • Define the product vision and strategy for retail investing (stocks, ETFs, mutual funds). • Lead cross-functional teams to design, build, and launch best-in-class investing experiences. • Prioritize features and trade-offs to maximize impact, speed, and compliance. • Ensure successful end-to-end delivery from MVP through scale. • Optimize team efficiency and output. • Own relationships with external partners including custodians, clearing firms, data providers, and technology vendors. • Negotiate and structure product partnerships that expand capabilities and accelerate execution. • Ensure smooth integration and ongoing management of third-party services critical to the investing platform. • Collaborate with legal, compliance, and risk teams to ensure all product initiatives meet FINRA/SEC and other applicable regulations. • Anticipate potential regulatory or operational risks and build proactive safeguards. • Measure Output metrics (Acquisition, Activation, Retention, Engagement) and Input metrics (Conversion Funnels, Engagement) that matter • Leverage Product Analytics Platforms (Mixpanel, Amplitude etc), Data Analytics Platforms (Metabase, Superset) • Drive the creation of delightful, intuitive and engaging user interfaces in collaboration with UX designers to drive user adoption and NPS Requirements: • 10+ years in Product Management, at least 4 of which are spent in building and scaling consumer investing, or brokerage products • Strong understanding of capital markets, trading infrastructure, clearing/settlement, and brokerage operations. • Familiarity with relevant regulatory frameworks and their product implications. • Excellent strategic insight on conceptualizing and prioritizing ideas. • In depth understanding and knowledge of Statistics, Analytics, Business Intelligence, SQL, Product Analytics platforms • Ability to interpret complex data sets and derive actionable insights. • Meticulous in program management processes.
