Brief Description
This position is responsible for growth of Licensed Sports Apparel business for Walmart and Sam’s Club which encompasses NCAA, NFL, MLB, MiLB, NBA, NHL and MLS. The position is primarily accountable for sales analytics and replenishment management.

Essential Duties
• Data and Analytics: Responsible for maintaining seasonal balance sheets, overseeing style level POS performance and consumption of inventory, while proactively addressing risks and opportunities. Manage weekly replenishment with goal to maximize sales and improve inventory productivity and profitability by ensuring right product in right stores at the right time for a positive consumer experience.
• Customer collaboration and forecast alignment: Develop and maintain strong relationships with account management, buying, replenishment and financial planning staffs both internally and with Walmart team to align on sales forecasts and inventory needs.
• Exhibit strong knowledge of Walmart’s data sources and perform analysis including sales, inventory, margin and productivity to identify business building opportunities. Deliver recurring reports that drive decision- making as well as create and maintain performance trackers to support KPI's.
• Assist with order creation, maintenance and tracking to ensure accuracy and alignment to seasonal commits as well as hot market events.
• Individual needs to have deep passion for learning and the ability to be analytical and creative in order to think outside the box to be a solutions provider.
• Awareness of monthly, quarterly and annual financial and sales plans in conjunction with Director of Sales. Work closely with Director of Sales to develop, formulate, and drive strategies to meet identified account needs and objectives.
Minimum Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree required
• Minimum 2 years sales, retail buying, or marketing experience in the apparel industry and/or CPG experience.
• Walmart Retail Link and Scintilla experience preferred
• Strong Excel skills, specifically v-lookups and pivot tables and comfort working with large data sets
• Financial Acumen; must understand retail math and scorecard drivers, and be able to manage detailed analytics
• Curiosity and interest in licensed sports
• Strong communication skills (oral and written)
• Proven ability as a “thinker”, a “strategist” and a “problem solver”
• Periodic Travel
