Remote QA Engineer

A global healthcare SaaS company is looking for the QA Engineer to join their team. The QA Engineer assists in end-to-end test strategy, drives both manual and automated testing across features, analyzes quality metrics, and collaborates with cross-functional teams to continuously improve product reliability and process efficiency. Your Impact: Create manual and automated test cases based on project requirements. Execute test cases to validate software functionality, usability, and performance. Identify bugs, glitches, and inconsistencies in the software. Document and report issues using bug-tracking tools like Jira or Bugzilla. Work closely with developers to understand features and resolve issues. Participate in Agile/Scrum meetings and provide feedback for improvements-run test cases to verify bug fixes and ensure stability. Confirm that resolved issues do not reappear in future builds. Maintain detailed records of test cases, scripts, and results. Prepare test reports for stakeholders and project managers. Strong proficiency in writing automated tests in at least one programming language (Java, JavaScript, or Python). Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks (Selenium WebDriver, Cypress, Appium). Familiarity with API testing tools (Postman, SoapUI) and basics of RESTful services. Understanding of continuous integration systems (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, CircleCI) and integrating test suites. Solid knowledge of SQL for backend data validation and test environment setup.
