As a Professional Services Technical Consultant, you'll work with our ministry partners and internal departments to optimize the ministry partner’s experience with and adoption of our solutions. As issues are escalated to Professional Services, you'll diagnose complex issues and develop solutions. You'll seek to understand user requirements, and design/develop, test, and implement solutions, working with internal partners as needed. You'll provide highly responsive customer service and strive to maintain a high level of ministry partner satisfaction.
What You'll Do:
• Lead all or part of solutions development project, working cross-functionally within ACST.
• Provide resolutions to technical issues and general advice as a technical consultant.
• Meet with users to gather technical requirements and specifications.
• Design, develop, and implement solutions through the use of SQL queries, stored procedures, Reports, Dashboards, etc.
• Participate in an on-call rotation for urgent customer needs.
• Recommend strategies, policies, and procedures by evaluating organization outcomes; identifying problems; evaluating trends; anticipating requirements.
• Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices; and participating in professional societies.
What We're Looking For:
• Bachelor’s degree (with preferred concentrations in Math, Actuarial Science, Finance, Computer Science, Economics, MIS) or equivalent work experience with 4-6 years of relevant work experience in T-SQL developing SQL scripts, stored procedures, etc., with 3 years of experience with Ministry Platform preferred.
• Experience at writing complex Microsoft SQL Server T-SQL functions and queries to meet specified requirements
• Experience developing, diagnosing, supporting Microsoft .Net Web applications that leverage Microsoft SQL Server as part of the solution
• Experience with and supportive of the use of collaborative code management products such as Azure DevOps, Microsoft Team Foundation Server, or GIT
• 4-6 years of experience with Microsoft Stack such as SSIS, SSAS, SSRS
• 4-6 years of experience in developing MobileReports, Power BI, datasets, etc.
• Ability to lead meetings with technical peers regarding solutions.
• Ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines with minimal supervision.
