The division brings together our Capital Markets and Post Trade businesses to offer a comprehensive suite of solutions—from raising and trading capital across asset classes and geographies, to clearing and optimising portfolios, to managing regulatory, reputational and financial risk. You will have the opportunity to learn and develop essential skills in understanding the needs of stakeholders and how we collaborate to provide business solutions. We have opportunities in London to join Post Trade and be aligned to the LCH – Risk Management or Operations. What we are looking for: You will have an interest in data proven either via your college/sixth-form academic studies or extracurricular activities. For instance, you may have taught yourself a new skill, studied a subject that has exposed you to analytical skills at college/sixth-form or used excel to produce work. Have a methodical, step-by-step approach to gathering information. Enjoy working with others and be part of a small team. Attention to detail. Be curious about the world we live in, which has helped create an awareness of financial markets. The opportunity will suit a candidate that has completed their A Levels/BTEC or equivalent in 2025 or by August 2026 and achieved BBC/MMP. The ideal candidate would have studied one subject in a maths, science, IT Basic coding experience in SQL/VBA or basic Power BI would be useful Remember what you achieve is just as important to how you achieved it. Studying an apprenticeship, you will need to meet the below criteria: Be over 18 years of age Live in England Not already be in full-time education at the point of start date. Achieved level 3 Qualification (Apprenticeship/A-Levels/BTEC etc.) 5 GCSEs including English and Maths at Grade 4 (C) Not be entered for a qualification of the same type, content and level as that of this qualification Recruitment Process: We have designed the process to be fair and consistent for everyone who applies. During the process you will be asked a series of questions, so we can get to know you better, and understand are we a great fit for you. We want to understand your interests and passions in relation to completing an apprenticeship. The first stage of the recruitment process involves making an application and submitting your resume - closing date for applications is 27 February 2025 The next stage of the application process is an untimed Immersive Online Assessment. The assessment is designed to give you an insight into what it’s like to work at LSEG. The second stage is a video interview where you will answer a series of questions using a strength-based-interview format The final stage is a half day in-person assessment centre in April which involves several different types of exercises – further information is provided at the point of invite.
