Be a part of moving careers forward! Description We have an opening for a contract career coach based in Dubai to support our Relocation and Outplacement solutions. We support employees who are relocating due to their company's initiatives. Our coaches assist the employees/families with integration into the new area, and the accompanying spouses/partners with job search strategies to help them find new employment/career opportunities or career continuation. The Coach works in a 1:1 capacity with the program participants by using IMPACT Group's technology and coaching methodology. This is a part-time, contract, and working from home/remote position, approximately 10-15 hours per month. • Establishes rapport with program participants and motivates them to achieve goals. • Guides participants through coaching process and milestone completion. • Advises and coaches career development, transition issues and career options. • Coaches on CV/résumé writing, effective marketing techniques, interviewing and negotiating. • Maintains electronic service delivery record for each employee serviced, according to the internal guide. • Monitors progress of participants, consults with them on specific subjects to improve their job search skills and knowledge and dealing with personal issues that are affecting their careers. Requirements: • 5-7+ years of experience coaching others in job search. Experience with resume development, interview preparation, career exploration, LinkedIn profiles and other aspects of job search coaching. • Experience working with job seekers on job searches in Dubai. • Proven experience in facilitation, business coaching, and integration coaching. • Very strong verbal / written communication skills (bilingual--English & proficiency in at least one additional language preferred). • Able to analyze and appropriately address transitional needs. • Ability to engage and foster positive relationships with recipients/clients. • Understanding of business and cultural practices within Dubai and surrounding areas. • Currently lives and/or works in Dubai. • High-speed internet connection on a personal computer; headset with a microphone or ear buds will be necessary (remote work). • Experience working with job seekers of various professions and levels. Ideal Candidate: • Master’s degree in a discipline involving the study of human behavior, business or related field preferred. • Coaching certificate or training. • Familiarity with Zoom & MS Teams. • Has personally relocated to a different country. Expat or Repat preferred. • Strong cross-cultural competence. • Fluently speaks English & at least one additional (local) language.
