Cognizant Technology Solutions is looking for a GCP Google Cloud Platform Cloud Architect to join our dynamic team, collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and deliver impactful solutions that align with our company’s goals. Role: GCP (Google Cloud Platform) Senior Cloud Architect/Solution Architect • * Applications will be accepted until Feb 28, 2026 Location: Candidates need to be based in United States and can work remotely from any location in US. Work Authorization: Cognizant will only consider applicants for this position who are legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship, now or in the near future. About this Team and Role • Design and implement scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud solutions using GCP. • Collaborate with stakeholders to define architecture strategies and cloud migration plans. • Lead technical discussions and create proof-of-concepts for cloud-based solutions. • Evaluate and integrate AI/ML capabilities using tools like AutoML and AI Platform. • Ensure compliance with security and governance standards. Required Skills: • Proficiency in GCP services: Compute Engine, App Engine, Kubernetes Engine, Cloud Storage, Big Query, Cloud SQL, Bigtable, Dataflow, Pub/Sub. • Experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform, Deployment Manager). • Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices. • Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes). • Scripting skills in Python and Bash. Certifications: • Google Professional Cloud Architect (preferred) • Kubernetes Administrator (optional but valuable) Salary and Other Compensation: The annual salary for the position is between $100,000 - $130,000/year and depends on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
