Instagram DM Setter (Part-Time | Hourly + Commission | Beauty Industry)

I’m looking for a personality-driven DM Setter to help manage conversations on my Instagram. This role focuses on welcoming new followers, building genuine connections, nurturing conversations, and following up with potential clients and students. This is NOT a cold, robotic sales role. My brand is built on connection, energy, personality, and trust. The person in this role must be able to naturally match my voice and vibe so conversations feel seamless and authentic. --- ✨ About My Brand I work with women in the beauty industry helping them grow their businesses, attract more clients, and scale their income through trainings, mentorship, and education. My audience is primarily beauty professionals and aspiring beauty artists. My brand voice is: • Bold • High energy • Warm and welcoming • Slightly spicy + fun • Confident and conversational • Emoji friendly The goal is for followers and leads to never feel like they are speaking to someone else.. you will be representing my brand voice directly. Main Responsibilities • Welcome and start conversations with new followers • Respond to Instagram DM inquiries in a timely and engaging way • Spark natural conversations (not pushy or salesy) • Follow up with people who haven’t responded • Qualify leads • Keep conversations organized and tracked • Communicate with me about common questions, feedback, or opportunities noticed in DMs --- Team Collaboration You will NOT be managing DMs alone. I will also be actively involved in conversations, especially when it comes to deeper relationship building, voice messages, or closing certain conversations. Compensation Structure • Hourly pay for DM management and engagement • Commission opportunities for sales generated through conversations you help nurture and convert This allows you to grow your income as the business grows and rewards strong communication and connection skills. --- ⏰ Availability Requirements • Must be available to check and respond to DMs between 9:00 AM – 9:00 PM CST • Must be available 7 days per week for short check-ins throughout the day • This is a part-time role requiring a few hours per week, completed through quick check-ins rather than long scheduled shifts • Messages should typically be responded to within a 1-3 hours • Hours are expected to grow as the business expands --- ‍♀️ Ideal Candidate • Female (due to brand voice and audience connection) • Fluent in English (written communication is extremely important) • Naturally friendly, outgoing, and confident communicator • Comfortable using emojis and casual social media language • Able to mirror tone, personality, and brand voice easily • Organized and reliable with strong attention to detail • Comfortable having conversations that may lead toward sales (without being pushy) --- Bonus Qualifications • Experience in the beauty industry (lash artist, esthetician, PMU artist, etc.) • Experience with DM setting, social media management, or online sales • Understanding of Instagram culture and conversation flow • Familiar with lead tracking or CRM tools --- Growth Opportunity This is a long-term opportunity with strong potential to grow alongside the business.
