Short-Form Animation Scriptwriter (Brand / Digital / YouTube Pre-Roll)
We are seeking a talented US-based writer to help develop short, animated stories featuring a newly created character for a nationally recognized CPG food brand. This character will be used in short-form animated content distributed primarily through paid digital media. We are not looking for an animator or artist. We are looking for a storyteller.
Background:
A new animated brand character is currently being developed. We will be producing short, animated content featuring this character for paid digital placements. The objectives of this content are to:
• Keep the brand top of mind with consumers
• Support major campaign themes (e.g., football season)
• Showcase the product in a fun, unique, and memorable way through character-driven storytelling
What We’re Looking For:
The ideal writer has experience:
• Writing for animation
• Writing short-form content suited for digital and social media
• Writing in support of consumer brands
• Creating funny and entertaining content
US-based required.
Engagement Structure:
We anticipate conducting a paid trial phase with a small group of writers. Selected candidates will complete an initial assignment. From there, we will narrow down to a longer-term partner. A brief will be provided to shortlisted candidates.
