What You'll Do - Every Day with Purpose You’ll support an assigned group of students through proactive advising, coaching, and outreach that empowers them to persist, progress, and graduate. Student Advising & Support • Guide students with course planning, scheduling, study strategies, and time and stress management • Coach students in professionalism, academic integrity, and student conduct expectations • Provide consistent, proactive outreach to encourage academic success and engagement • Identify, monitor, and support at-risk students with timely interventions and resources Connection & Engagement • Plan and implement student workshops and monthly student appreciation initiatives • Assist with orientation, graduation, and other key student events (as applicable) • Foster a supportive, student-centered experience whether working remotely or on campus Collaboration & Administration • Document student interactions accurately in the student information system • Communicate with students via email, phone, text, and help desk channels in a timely and caring manner • Collaborate with university partners to support holistic student success • Attend departmental meetings and professional trainings • Understand and comply with FERPA and university policies What's In It For You We believe supporting our people allows them to support our students at the highest level. • Self-directed PTO policy • Paid holidays • 401(k) with employer match • Medical, dental, and vision insurance • Fully paid short-term disability • Long-term disability and life insurance • Professional development opportunities • Education assistance Requirements: What You Bring to the Table Education & Experience • Associate degree required; Bachelor’s degree preferred • 2–3 years of experience in a related field; higher education experience strongly preferred Skills & Strengths • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Confidence using technology and student information systems • Ability to balance empathy with accountability • A student-centered, service-driven mindset Why Joyce University?
