Job Description Summary The Supply Chain Planning Analyst of Biosciences (BDB) Global Supply Chain Planning creates and enhances data solutions as relating to Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Production Planning and Procurement. This role also completes reporting activities for supply chain key driver goals and metrics. This role reports functionally to the Inventory and Analytics Manager (BDB). KEY OBJECTIVES & RESPONSIBILITIES Perform Supply Chain activities for assigned product portfolio to optimize inventory, minimize cost, and set and achieve customer service goals including; supply planning, master planning, capacity planning, execution oversight, and monitoring and reporting of results. Coordinate activities around business data gathering and analysis for supply chain as it relates to Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Production Planning and Procurement. Provide support in the area of gathering, extracting, and reporting of data for key business metrics, and departmental goals (i.e.: backorders, inventory, service level, schedule compliance, and forecast accuracy) to support Sales & Operations Planning. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop data solutions and tools to support business needs and continuous improvement. Develop and utilize advanced data analytical tools to enhance and automate supply chain reporting. Ability to develop complex data modeling to support and achieve business analytic requirements. Explore state-of-the art capabilities such as machine learning, artificial intelligence, and other data analytical tools and help with introduction to day-to-day usage and achieving optimal outcomes. Support the preparation of leadership presentations on Supply-Demand related subjects. EXPERIENCE Minimum 2 years related experience in supply chain planning, operations, manufacturing and/or data analytics EDUCATION Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, Computer Science or Data Science required. MBA is a plus. COMPETENCIES Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams Knowledgeable in SAP, ERP, MRP and advanced analytics solutions Proficient in Java, Power BI development, and/or additional data science tools. Experience with KNIME platform a plus.
