Consultant, HIM

Job Description: • Act as a liaison and collaborate with key stakeholders to analyze, evaluate, and improve health information management practices and workflows • Uses critical thinking skills to analyze complex issues, determine root cause and develop solutions independently • Act as a lead in HIM operational areas by providing support and expertise • Collaborate with HIM Leadership and IT department to identify enhancements and opportunities to improve the electronic health record • In depth analysis of HIM operations to identify areas for improvement and mitigate risks related to electronic health information • Identify opportunities for training and professional development, create training materials and deliver education to enhance the skills and knowledge of associates • Collaborates with HIM leadership to implement best practices and emerging trends in health information management to ensure compliance and optimize operations • Assist with creating standard of work, policies, and procedures for HIM operations Requirements: • High School or GED • Strong computer skills, including knowledge of EPIC, Solarity, Onbase, and data archive systems • Practical knowledge of health information management principles, regulations, and best practices • Strong analytical skills and can identify issues with workflows • Expertise in health information management software and electronic health record systems Benefits: • Health insurance • Professional development opportunities Apply tot his job Apply To this Job
