SAP FICO lead (only on W2)

Job Title: Senior SAP FICO Consultant Location: Remote Role Overview We are seeking an experienced Senior SAP FICO Consultant to lead the implementation, configuration, and optimization of financial processes within the SAP FI module. The consultant will collaborate closely with finance and business stakeholders to ensure accurate financial operations, system integrity, and efficient period-end closing activities. This role requires strong expertise in financial accounting, validation controls, and reconciliation processes. Key Responsibilities SAP FI Implementation & Configuration • Lead end-to-end implementation and support of the SAP FI module. • Configure and optimize General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and Asset Accounting (AA). • Customize solutions to meet business and reporting requirements. Business Process Design & Validation • Analyze, design, and enhance financial business processes. • Develop and maintain validation rules, workflows, and control mechanisms. • Ensure data accuracy and process compliance. Clearing, Reconciliation & Closing Activities • Implement and streamline clearing and reconciliation processes. • Support month-end and year-end closing activities. • Ensure accurate financial reporting and resolve closing issues. Testing, Documentation & Support • Perform system testing and maintain documentation. • Provide user training and ongoing system support. • Recommend continuous process improvements. Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, IT, or related field. • Extensive hands-on experience with SAP FI implementation and support. • Strong knowledge of GL, AP, AR, AA, reconciliation, and period-end processes. • Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
