HR Consultant needed to advise for national startup
Need help on navigating the gray areas between 1099s and W2s for potentially 2 different companies (there're potentially 2 because of this division of labor). I need to set up the company(s) in a way to avoid compliance issues. We operate across the US.
One of the companies will operate like Upwork but for an industry not served by Upwork. I know I will need legal help, too, at some point to establish terms and conditions, but for now, I want to build a solid plan for the companies and their relationship to each other.
