FMC partners exclusively with third-party originators and offers expertise in diverse loan products for residential, mixed-use, and condo properties. Role Description We are seeking talented NonQM Underwriters for a full-time remote position. Responsibilities include reviewing borrower financial documents, calculating income, analyzing risk, and rendering lending decisions. You will collaborate with mortgage brokers and across teams to ensure a smooth underwriting process while maintaining quality control and service excellence. Qualifications • Strong analytical skills to evaluate borrower financial documents and determine risk. • Experience with Non-QM products including Bank Statement loans, DSCR, Jumbo, and ITIN financing. • Proficiency in understanding underwriting guidelines, mortgage lending regulations, and compliance. • Attention to detail, documentation review skills, and ability to manage multiple files simultaneously. • Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with brokers and internal teams. • Proficient in relevant loan origination software and underwriting tools. • Prior Non-QM mortgage underwriting experience is preferred. • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent work experience is beneficial.
