Principal Sales & Marketing Analyst - REMOTE
This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Principal Sales & Marketing Analyst. In this role, you will serve as the primary analytical partner for Sales and Marketing leadership, utilizing your skills to drive insights that optimize Go-to-Market strategies and enhance overall revenue efficiency. Your contributions will directly support the Senior Leadership Team and play a crucial role in sustaining rapid growth within the organization. You will engage in complex data analyses and provide actionable recommendations that will influence strategic decisions at the highest level.
Accountabilities
• Design, build, and maintain dashboards and reports to monitor Sales and Marketing KPIs.
• Conduct complex analyses on Go-to-Market effectiveness, including campaign ROI and sales rep productivity.
• Develop predictive models for forecasting pipeline performance and resource allocation.
• Ensure data integrity and consistency across key systems.
• Translate business questions into analytical frameworks and provide insights to Sales and Marketing Leadership.
• Identify bottlenecks in the sales funnel, proposing data-backed solutions to increase conversion rates.
• Analyze customer data to refine ideal customer profiles and improve targeting accuracy.
• Support sales compensation analysis and quota setting in collaboration with Sales Operations.
Requirements
• 10+ years of experience in a highly analytical role, preferably in a SaaS/Subscription-based business.
• Expert SQL skills for querying complex datasets.
• Advanced proficiency in a major BI platform (e.g., Qlik, Tableau, Power BI).
• Familiarity with Salesforce CRM data structure.
• Proven analytical rigor and ability to present findings to executive audiences.
• Solid understanding of core SaaS metrics and drivers.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for technical results.
• Experience with major Marketing Automation Platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Marketo).
• Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and tools (e.g., Snowflake).
• Experience with statistical programming languages (e.g., R, Python) for advanced modeling.
• Background in FP&A related to GTM or Sales & Marketing Analytics.
