Azure Architect with MS FABRIC and Purview- W2 role
Azure Architect to support a large-scale Data Modernization initiative for a Healthcare Payer environment. The program focuses on migrating legacy on-prem and cloud data platforms into a unified Microsoft Fabric-based architecture, enabling scalable analytics, governance, and enterprise reporting.
The architect will lead the design of modern Azure data platforms leveraging Microsoft Fabric, OneLake, and enterprise-grade security and governance frameworks while ensuring compliance with healthcare and payer data standards (Claims, EDI, Insurance datasets).
The Azure Architect will be responsible for end-to-end architecture design, migration strategy, and implementation oversight for modernizing legacy data systems into Microsoft Fabric within a Healthcare Payer ecosystem. This role requires strong Azure architecture expertise, Microsoft Fabric experience, and prior exposure to healthcare payer or insurance domain data platforms.
Design end-to-end Azure architecture for Microsoft Fabric based data platforms including OneLake, Lakehouse, and Fabric Data Factory
Lead data migration and modernization from legacy on-prem, data warehouse, and payer systems to Azure and Microsoft Fabric
Architect scalable data ingestion, transformation, and orchestration pipelines for large healthcare payer datasets (claims, EDI, insurance data)
Provide architecture leadership for Azure data platform solutions using ADLS Gen2, Fabric, and enterprise analytics frameworks
Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, and engineering teams to translate requirements into scalable architecture
Implement secure, compliant architectures aligned with healthcare and payer data standards (HIPAA, PHI, governance)
Define data governance, access control, and lineage strategies using Azure security models and Microsoft Purview
Review solution designs, code, and implementations to ensure alignment with architecture standards and best practices
Optimize performance, scalability, and cost for enterprise Azure and Fabric data environments
Must have strong Azure Architecture experience, hands-on Microsoft Fabric (OneLake, Lakehouse, Fabric Data Factory), Azure Data Lake/ADF exposure, and prior experience in healthcare payer or insurance domain with data modernization projects
