Description App Dev & Support Engineer II Responsibilities: • Designs, develops documents, tests, and debugs new and existing software systems and applications. • Transforms business requirements into system definitions and clear solutions. • Communicates using flowcharts, data flow diagrams and unified data language. • Serves as a technical expert on development projects. • Participates in full development life cycle including requirements analysis and design. • Understands various software architecture and implementation methods. • Identifies gaps in system/requirements software development model. • Creates technical specifications based on conceptual design and stated business requirements. • Supports maintains and documents software functionality. • Analyzes codes to find causes of errors and revises programs. • Participates in code reviews and software design meetings. • Examines user needs to determine technical requirements. • Consults with end-users to prototype, refine, test, and debug programs. • Conducts tasks and assignments as directed. • Works under minimal supervision with the ability to make independent judgments, as required. • Performs other duties as assigned. • Complies with all policies and standards. Requirements: Have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience • Have proficiency with Java and/or TypeScript, familiar with OOA/OOD/ • Have working experience in developing complex web application • Have working experience of JSP and/or Spring Boot programming experience. • Have the ability to pick up new technical languages and adapt to new technologies Additional Skills: • Have experience with PL SQL, and Entity Framework • Have experience with node.js and other common web development frameworks • Have good UI/UX design skills, Sketch, Mockup, and wireframe techniques • Familiar with ASP.NET, WCF, MVC, MS SQL, and Entity Framework • SQL database development, store procedure, triggers • Have experience with PL SQL database profiling Flexible Working At Conduent, we want you to be yourself. For this position, actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. In addition to base pay, this position, based on business need, may be eligible for a bonus or incentive. The estimated salary range for this role is $80k-$90k.
