Strategic Investment Analysts focus on evaluating and supporting investment opportunities, analyzing portfolio strategy, and providing actionable insights that help drive fund and investment decisions. Role Overview Initio Sphere is seeking qualified finance professionals to join as Certified Strategic Investment Analysts. This is not a traditional employment role. Analysts operate as independent contractors, activated through Initio Sphere’s certification and verification process. Once approved, Strategic Investment Analysts: • Are promoted within the Initio Sphere platform • Gain access to real deal flow and paid analytical work • Support investors, fund managers, and operators by analyzing deals, performing risk and return assessments, and contributing to investment strategy • Build a verified track record of strategic investment support along with an Analyst Rating Score Certification tiers: Senior Analyst · Lead Analyst · Analyst / Associate Analyst Analyst Levels & Pay Ranges Senior Analyst • Rating Score: 90–100 • Pay: $150–200/hour • Typical Background: Ex-investment banking, private equity, venture capital, strategic consulting, or portfolio management with 5+ years of deal and investment strategy experience Lead Analyst • Rating Score: 80–89 • Pay: $100–150/hour • Typical Background: Finance professionals with 3–5 years of experience in deals, investment strategy, or portfolio analysis Analyst / Associate • Rating Score: 60–79 • Pay: $50–100/hour • Typical Background: Entry to mid-level analysts with strong financial modeling, analytical, and research skills What You’ll Do (Approval-Based) Strategic Investment Analysts are engaged based on category-specific approvals, earned through assessment and performance. Strategic Deal & Investment Analysis • Evaluate potential investments for risk, return, and strategic alignment • Analyze market trends, competitor landscapes, and sector performance • Perform sensitivity and scenario analyses to assess deal viability • Build financial models to support investment recommendations • Prepare executive summaries, dashboards, and reports for investors and fund managers Portfolio & Risk Support • Monitor existing portfolio investments for performance, KPIs, and strategic fit • Conduct due diligence on potential acquisitions or capital allocations • Support investment memos, risk assessments, and operational review processes Analysts may only perform work in categories for which they are approved. How Analysts Start Earning • Complete the Analyst Certification Assessment or approved training • Receive category-specific approvals (Modeling, Valuation, Investment Strategy, Risk Assessment) • Get verified on the Initio Sphere platform • Begin earning immediately through hourly projects and live deal work No cold applications. No unpaid “experience.” Verified analysts are actively promoted to investors, fund managers, and deal sponsors. Certification & Eligibility To qualify, candidates must meet at least one of the following: • Score 70% in at least one category of the Analyst Certification Assessment • Complete Initio Sphere Financial Training • Hold an active professional credential (CFA, CPA, Series 7, 63, 79, or equivalent) Analyst Rating Score Each analyst receives a 0–100 Analyst Rating Score, which determines: • Platform visibility and access to deals and portfolios • Approved work categories • Recommended hourly rates Scores are updated based on accuracy, thoroughness, and feedback from investors and fund managers. Compensation & Deal Terms • Analysts are independent contractors, not employees • Hourly rates depend on Rating Score and approval level • Analysts may earn up to 10% of the first $100,000 in transaction fees • Maximum deal-based earning: $2,500 per transaction • Payments issued only after successful completion of approved work • Initio Sphere reserves the right to revoke approvals for quality or compliance issues Compliance Notice Strategic Investment Analysts do not: • Provide investment advice • Solicit securities • Represent Initio Sphere in a regulated capacity All work is limited to analytical, diligence, and strategic investment support and must comply with applicable securities laws.
