<br><strong>Remote Certified Medical Assistant - Jacksonville, FL Area</strong> <br>Vaco is hiring <strong>Remote Certified Medical Assistants (CMA)</strong> to provide medical abstraction and indexing services. Candidates must reside <strong>within 1 hour of Jacksonville, FL</strong> for <strong>on-site equipment pick-up and first-day orientation.<br><br></strong>Position Details:<br><br><ul><li><strong>Schedule:</strong> Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM</li><li><strong>Location:</strong> Remote after equipment pick-up</li><li><strong>Training:</strong> Fully remote after hybrid first-day orientation<br><br></li></ul>Qualifications:<br><br><ul><li>Must reside <strong>within 1 hour commuting distance of Jacksonville, FL.</strong></li><li>Availability to work <strong>full-time, 40 hours per week.</strong></li><li><strong>Strong computer and communication skills</strong> required.</li><li>Self-motivated, problem-solver with the ability to work independently.</li><li>Flexible and adaptable to changing business and account needs.<br><br></li></ul>Experience Required:<br><br><ul><li><strong>Medical documentation</strong> and familiarity with EMR systems (Excel experience preferred).</li><li><strong>Medical transcription</strong> or relevant experience in nursing, cardiology, multi-specialty, or billing/coding.</li><li>Knowledge and commitment to <strong>HIPAA and HITECH policies</strong> for patient confidentiality.</li><li>Proficiency in:</li><li>Abstracting and indexing clinical data from medical records.</li><li>Logging information from paper charts to EHR systems or transferring between EHR platforms.<br></li></ul>If you're a Certified Medical Assistant seeking a <strong>remote opportunity with occasional on-site requirements</strong>, apply today!<br><br><em>Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual's skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs.
