Job Title: Sales-Driven Plumbing Dispatcher Location: 119 Oronoco Street, Alexandria, VA, 22314 Software Requirement: Service Titan (Proficiency Required) Role Overview Are you a master of logistics with a salesperson’s heart? Emerald Plumbing is looking for a Sales-Driven Plumbing Dispatcher to be the heartbeat of our service department. This isn't just about putting calls on a calendar—it’s about maximizing revenue, optimizing technician routes, and "selling the appointment" to ensure our trucks are always profitable. As our Dispatcher, you will be the primary link between our customers and our technicians, using Service Titan to manage the board with precision and a focus on the bottom line. Key Responsibilities • Revenue Optimization: Prioritize high-value calls and "prime" the schedule to ensure the right technician is sent to the right job to maximize daily sales. • Service Titan Management: Maintain a "clean" board. Manage alerts, track technician statuses in real-time, and ensure all job information is accurately captured for seamless invoicing. • The "Soft Sell": Convert inquiries into booked appointments by building rapport, overcoming objections, and communicating the value of our professional plumbing services. • Technician Coaching: Act as a "wingman" for technicians in the field—helping them navigate schedule changes and providing them with the customer history they need to succeed on-site. • Outbound Momentum: During slow periods, proactively call existing customers for maintenance reminders or follow-ups on open estimates to keep the board full. Qualifications • Service Titan Expert: You must have a strong working knowledge of Service Titan (dispatching, reporting, and customer management). • Sales Mindset: Previous experience in inside sales, retail, or high-volume customer service is a major plus. • Logistical Ninja: You can see 10 steps ahead and adjust routes on the fly to avoid "dead time" or excessive travel for technicians. • Pressure-Tested: You stay calm, cool, and collected when the phones are ringing and the weather is acting up. • Plumbing Knowledge: General familiarity with plumbing terms (main lines, water heaters, jetting) is highly preferred.
