Hiring: Recruiting Assistant – Remote / Flexible Hours

Duties
• Assist in sourcing candidates through various channels including social media management, HRIS platforms like Workday, iCIMS, and Salesforce.
• Support internal recruiting efforts by coordinating interviews, managing applicant tracking systems (ATS), and maintaining accurate candidate records.
• Conduct research on labor market trends, employment & labor law updates, and competitor hiring practices to inform recruitment strategies.
• Engage in talent acquisition activities such as campus recruitment events, executive recruiting, and lead generation initiatives.
• Facilitate employee orientation sessions and assist with onboarding processes to ensure smooth integration of new hires.
• Manage relationships with hiring managers and candidates through effective communication skills and relationship management techniques.
• Support training & development programs by assisting in scheduling sessions and tracking participation using HRIS tools like UltiPro or Kronos.
Experience
• Proven experience in recruiting or human resources roles, with familiarity using ATS platforms such as Lever, Taleo, or PeopleSoft.
• Strong negotiation skills coupled with experience in employment & labor law compliance to ensure fair and legal hiring practices.
• Demonstrated ability in technical recruiting, including sourcing for specialized roles such as HR sourcing or executive positions.
• Excellent communication skills for conducting interviews, cold calling potential candidates, and managing candidate relationships.
• Knowledge of HRIS systems like Workday, Paychex, ADP, or HRIS tools such as HRIS or Kronos is highly desirable.
• Experience with social media management for talent sourcing and employer branding purposes.
