We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Transport Planner to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for optimizing transportation processes, ensuring efficient freight movement, and enhancing overall logistics performance. This role requires strong data analysis skills and the ability to utilize various transportation management systems effectively. Responsible for organizing, scheduling and coordinating daily outbound domestic and international shipments. Duties • Prepare required shipping documents using company's ERP system • Utilization of approved external transportation software • Schedule freight pickups with T.I.'s freight partners and customer directed carriers • Ensure the safe and timely pick-up of shipments • Address and resolve transportation issues • Answer customer queries both internal and external Qualifications • High school diploma/GED required • 2+ years' experience in shipping and receiving • Proficiency in arenaflex Office. Logistics software experience a plus • Knowledge of arenaflex shipping software Utilize • Good management, organizational, problem solving and communication • Flexible to changes in work schedule start and stop time to support business conditions • Open to cross training outside of core responsibilities to support the overall operation • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex information clearly. • Join our team as a Transport Planner and contribute to enhancing our logistics operations through innovative planning and strategic insights.
