About Dua Health Dua Health is a fast-growing virtual mental health practice based in Austin, Texas. We specialize in providing therapy to diverse and underserved communities, including LGBTQ+ individuals, BIPOC clients, and young professionals. Our mission is to build the next generation of accessible, high-quality mental health services—combining clinical care, modern design, and innovative technology. We’re now expanding into our next chapter: raising a seed round to accelerate national growth. The Role We’re looking for a Venture Capital Intern to support our fundraising and investor relations efforts. This is a high-impact, strategic role that blends finance, storytelling, and startup operations. You’ll work directly with the Founder & CEO to prepare investor materials, identify funding opportunities, and help drive Dua Health’s seed round to completion. This role is ideal for someone interested in venture capital, startups, or healthcare innovation, and who wants to gain firsthand experience in how fundraising actually happens inside an early-stage company. What You’ll Do • Research and identify angel investors, venture firms, and strategic partners aligned with Dua Health’s mission and stage. • Assist in preparing and refining investor materials, including pitch decks, one-pagers, and financial overviews. • Support investor outreach: drafting emails, tracking communications, and maintaining CRM-style tracking spreadsheets. • Analyze market and competitor data to strengthen investor positioning and narrative. • Participate in internal strategy sessions around capital raising, valuation, and growth planning. • Help organize and prepare materials for investor meetings and demo days. What We’re Looking For • A college student or recent graduate studying business, finance, economics, or entrepreneurship (or related field). • Strong written communication and presentation skills. • Analytical mindset with attention to detail and curiosity about venture capital and startups. • Proactive, resourceful, and comfortable working independently. • Bonus: experience with Canva, PowerPoint, Notion, or Excel/Google Sheets. Compensation This is an unpaid internship intended for professional development and experience. Flexible hours (10–15 hours per week) with remote work available.
