Cost Accountant

Title: Project Accountant Company: Technology and Smart Infrastructure Industry Compensation: $85000 - $100,000 Location: Fully Remote Reports To: Director of Accounting About the Company A growing technology organization backed by private equity, focused on delivering advanced solutions within the smart infrastructure and public technology sector. The company is scaling quickly and continuing to build out a strong accounting and finance team to support expansion. Why This Role Matters This role supports continued growth by ensuring accurate accounting for inventory, costs, and project activity. You will partner closely across departments to support effective financial reporting and operational success. Responsibilities • Manage full cycle accounting for inventory and cost of goods sold • Oversee Bill of Materials processes and related costing activities • Analyze purchase price variances and provide insights • Review and reconcile inventory transactions and balances • Collaborate cross functionally to support cost accounting and reporting needs • Assist leadership with implementation of policies and procedures related to inventory and cost accounting • Experience supporting revenue accounting processes, highly preferred • Utilize NetSuite and SuiteProjects for accounting and reporting (preferred) Qualifications • Three to five years of relevant accounting experience • Bachelor degree in Accounting • Experience with full cycle inventory and cost of goods sold accounting • Strong communication and collaborative abilities • NetSuite experience • Revenue accounting experience Work Environment • Remote role with collaboration across global teams • Growth stage environment with deadlines and project driven work • Balanced workload Vaco by Highspring values a diverse workplace and strongly encourages women, people of color, LGBTQ+ individuals, people with disabilities, members of ethnic minorities, foreign-born residents, and veterans to apply.
