Director of Business Development – Direct Sales
Job Description:
• Develop and implement an effective sales plan to meet or exceed sales objectives in acquiring new clients.
• Work with a team of lead generators to ensure they have the right pitch and engagement tools to bring good leads to your desk.
• Identify and work with the proposal team to identify and fill RFIs and RFPs in the commercial space.
• Develop relationships with key decision-makers for all staffing needs and partner with them on filling their needs exclusively.
• Responsible for managing and penetrating existing and new accounts and fulfilling client staffing needs within minimal time.
• Conduct regular onsite visits with clients and build rapport to foster a long-lasting beneficial relationship.
• Attend community networking events to create additional business relationships.
• Work with the hiring leaders, department heads, stakeholders, decision-makers, and procurement teams to identify their critical needs.
• Keep abreast of trends in the industry and identify new opportunities for the growth of your portfolio.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalency in work experience or education.
• 10+ years in Sales and Business Development.
• 5+ years in Direct and SOW based-based clients in the commercial sector.
• Experience leading teams of lead generation specialists.
• Experience sourcing, qualifying, and filling RFI/RFPs.
• Experience in building sales automation systems, and processes and leveraging the latest technologies and AI in automating tasks and outreach.
