We are seeking an experienced HR Generalist to join our team on a temporary full-time, 6-month contract. Reporting to the HR Business Partner, you will support a designated regional area and play a key role in delivering high-quality HR services that help drive business success.

What You’ll Do
As our HR Generalist, you’ll serve as a trusted partner to managers and team members across your region.
Talent & Onboarding
• Prepare job offers and coordinate background checks
• Support new hire onboarding and help organize training and development initiatives
• Promote HR programs that foster an efficient and positive workplace
Employee Relations & Support
• Provide guidance to team members on leaves, compensation, and general HR inquiries
• Support management in team member relations and conflict resolution matters
• Enhance job satisfaction by resolving concerns promptly and organizing engagement activities
• Build strong working relationships with Care Center Managers and Regional Managers
Performance & Policy Administration
• Assist with performance management processes
• Support the bi-annual employee performance review cycle
• Help develop and implement HR policies and best practices
• Ensure compliance with employment laws and labor regulations
Benefits & Leave Management
• Respond to benefits inquiries regarding enrollments, plan changes, and coverage
• Assist with benefits claims and plan adjustments
• Process and administer leave-of-absence requests, including medical, personal, disability, and FMLA paperwork
HR Operations
• Maintain accurate team member files and records (electronic and paper)
• Support continuous improvement of HR processes and systems
• Contribute to special projects and other duties as assigned
What You Bring
Education & Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (required)
• Minimum 5 years of HR experience preferred
• Professional HR designation (CHRP, CHRL, PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP) preferred
Skills & Strengths
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution abilities
• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Sound analytical and problem-solving capabilities
• Integrity, professionalism, and the ability to handle confidential information
• Thorough knowledge of employment laws and regulations
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to quickly learn HRIS and talent management systems
Working Conditions
• Fully remote within the state of Texas
• Approximately 20% travel within the designated region
• Occasional exposure to elevated noise levels (office equipment or Care Center visits)
• Occasional exposure to elevated heat levels during Care Center visits
