[Remote] Salesforce System Administrator Principal

General Dynamics Information Technology is seeking a Salesforce System Administrator Principal to be part of a dynamic team delivering sophisticated applications for the Salesforce platform. The role involves standard development and customizations, managing user accounts, configuring applications, and collaborating with other technical staff to ensure quality product delivery.
Responsibilities
• Attend/lead team stand up meetings
• Maintain Salesforce Sys Admin certifications
• Pursue additional certifications such as Salesforce Platform App Builder
• Manage Salesforce User accounts
• Conduct high-volume data export, transformation and load into enterprise applications
• Configure existing controllers, controller extensions, and triggers across all platforms
• Configure reports and dashboards
• Field and own support tickets from user community
• Maintain system and process documentation, such as data structures, integrations, workflows, and account management
• Development of best practices including application lifecycle management, integration and application development, deployment, testing (unit and systems), and iterative refinement
• Responsible for providing hands on assistance to other developers (both junior and senior) on the G&O team for technical issues
• Lead training for end user and customers of our Salesforce instance
• Design, create and translate functional requirements into technical requirements
• Participate in defect review meetings with business team leads as well as implementation lead and prioritize development tasks around project milestones
• Write test scripts and QA reports for data structures and report to the project team
• Configuration of custom applications using Salesforce.com and integrating salesforce.com with other systems
• Create and execute unit, integration and user acceptance test plans, including use cases and test data
Skills
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Liberal Arts or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical training, certifications or work experience
• 8+ years of experience
• Certified Salesforce Administrator required
• US Person
• Excellent organizational, time management, and public speaking skills
• Ability to work independently on complex tasks which require analysis and action
• Ability to work well with staff members and user community, especially with senior business management staff
• Ability to be highly productive, both working alone and in close collaboration within a team, able to multi-process and thrive in a fast-paced and sometimes unpredictable, always engaging environment
• Experience with any of the project delivery tools: JIRA, Confluence, Agile Accelerator, MS Project 2016, MS SharePoint, MS Teams, MS Planner
• Take ownership of project work and developing client relationships (should be a confident self-starter)
• Experience with QA processes as part of the SDLC; Agile and traditional waterfall
• Ability to communicate with stakeholders and provide consultation on Salesforce solutions
• Experience in administration and development of Salesforce's Sales Cloud
• Proficiency with Salesforce.com development including modification of standard objects and fields and creation of custom objects and fields
• Knowledgeable in administration setup, e.g., managing users, security controls, and data as well as creating roles, profiles, and reports
• Experience in designing custom objects, custom fields, picklists, page layouts, workflow, approval processes, validation rules, custom tabs, reports, dashboards, and email generation according to application requirements
• Management experience or leading a support/delivery team
• Understanding of application architecture and APIs (for applications like Salesforce, Mulesoft, etc.)
• Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning development, design, configuration, testing and deployment of Salesforce.com solutions
• Experience completing multiple application implementation projects requiring integration to legacy systems using APIs or an integration platform/enterprise service bus
• Experience completing application implementation projects requiring configuration, testing, and deployment
