Financial Analyst – Real Estate Private Equity (Remote) Focus: Investments, Analytics & AI-Enabled Systems Location: Remote Employment Type: Full-Time Reports To: Investment Team / Managing Principal Overview We are a private equity real estate investment firm focused on value-add and opportunistic investments across hospitality, multifamily, mixed-use, and special situations. We are seeking a high-caliber Financial Analyst who combines traditional institutional underwriting skills with strong AI fluency to support deal analysis, investment committee materials, and the development of scalable internal systems. This role is well-suited for a self-directed analyst who thinks like an owner, operates comfortably across analytics and execution, and sees AI as a practical tool for speed, consistency, and decision quality—not experimentation for its own sake. Core Responsibilities Investment Analysis & Underwriting • Build and maintain institutional-quality financial models in Excel • Sources & uses, operating cash flows, IRR/NPV, waterfalls, sensitivity and scenario analysis • Underwrite acquisitions, developments, and repositioning strategies across multiple asset classes • Analyze pricing, returns, capital structures, and downside risk • Perform market, operating, and cost benchmarking analysis Investment Memos & Presentation Materials • Prepare Investment Committee memoranda and deal summaries • Develop clear, concise, and visually compelling materials in PowerPoint and/or Gamma.ai • Translate complex financial and risk concepts into executive-level narratives • Support investor-facing materials as needed AI, Automation & Internal Systems • Design, build, and maintain AI agents or workflows to support: • Deal screening and underwriting consistency • Investment memo drafting and versioning • Financial model review, diagnostics, and sensitivity analysis • Internal SOP documentation and knowledge management • Leverage AI platforms to improve: • Speed and accuracy of underwriting • Repeatability of investment frameworks • Standardization of internal decision processes • Collaborate with senior team members to embed AI tools into: • Investment models • Operating playbooks • Asset management and reporting workflows Deal & Team Coordination • Assist with coordination tasks including: • Scheduling internal and external meetings • Managing data rooms and file distribution • Tracking diligence items and action lists • Maintain clean deal documentation and version control • Update and manage CRM records (HubSpot experience a plus) • Support light project management using Microsoft Planner or similar tools Required Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Real Estate, Economics, Accounting, Engineering, or related field • 2–5+ years of experience in: Real estate investment/ private equity, Investment banking and/or Accounting • Real estate advisory or development underwriting, Asset management • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (independent model building required) • Strong skills in PowerPoint with institutional presentation standards • Demonstrated experience using AI platforms in a professional or analytical context AI & Technical Skill Set (Required or Strongly Preferred) • Experience building or deploying AI agents, workflows, or automations • Proficiency with modern AI tools (e.g., LLM-based platforms, agent frameworks, or automation stacks) • Ability to translate investment logic into: • AI-assisted workflows • SOPs • Repeatable analytical processes • Comfort working across Microsoft 365 and cloud-based collaboration tools Preferred / Bonus Qualifications • Experience underwriting hospitality and/or value-add real estate • Familiarity with Gamma.ai, HubSpot, CoStar, PitchBook, or similar platforms • Exposure to Power Automate, Notion, or other workflow tools • Understanding of real estate JV structures and promote waterfalls • Experience in lean, entrepreneurial, or platform-building environments Key Traits & Working Style • Natural problem solver with strong judgment and intellectual curiosity • Forward-thinking; anticipates issues and proposes solutions proactively • Able to balance detail orientation with strategic perspective • Clear communicator with strong written skills • Comfortable operating independently in a remote setting • High integrity, discretion, and ownership mindset What We Offer • Direct exposure to principal-level investment decision making on dynamic/exciting investment opportunities • Opportunity to help design and scale an AI-enabled investment platform; possible growth role in leading remote AI support team • Broad responsibility across the full investment lifecycle • Clear path for growth into role of management of other remote financial analyst Apply tot his job Apply tot his job Apply To this Job
