The Role: Bank Teller / Customer Service Representative

As a Bank Teller / Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you will be the friendly, reliable “front line” that greets our members, processes their transactions efficiently, and introduces them to the full suite of products and services we offer. This position is based in our Pierre branch and requires an on‑site presence—there is no remote work option for this role.

Key Responsibilities – Your Daily Impact

  • Execute dozens of routine banking transactions each day, including cash checks, deposits, loan payments, withdrawals, and more, all within established timeframes and procedural guidelines.
  • Proactively assess each customer’s financial needs and recommend appropriate arenaflex products such as credit cards, savings bonds, personal loans, and digital banking tools.
  • Drive revenue growth by making strategic sales referrals, cross‑selling complementary services, and guiding customers toward alternative channels (online, mobile, or self‑service kiosks) when appropriate.
  • Build trust and loyalty by consistently going the “extra mile,” ensuring every interaction leaves a lasting positive impression.
  • Maintain strict compliance with federal, state, and local regulatory requirements, including AML, BSA, and privacy standards.
  • Identify and mitigate risk in every transaction, promptly detecting and reporting any suspicious or fraudulent activity.
