Game Motion Designer / Game Animator (UI, Effects, Transitions)
Job Description
We are looking for a Game Motion Designer / Animator with proven experience in games to create splashy, vibrant, high-impact animations for a digital, game-driven product.
This role is not for general video or marketing motion designers. We are specifically looking for someone who understands game feel, feedback loops, and moment-to-moment player delight.
What you’ll do
Animate game UI elements including splash screens, rewards, cards, badges, transitions, and states
Create energetic, juicy animations using anticipation, impact, overshoot, and squash & stretch where appropriate
Design motion that reinforces progression, rewards, rarity, and achievement
Work from Figma files and collaborate closely with UI/UX designers
Required experience (must-have)
Demonstrated experience in games or gamified products
Strong 2D game animation skills
Expert-level After Effects
Deep understanding of game animation principles such as timing, easing, impact, and feedback
Lottie / JSON exports for app integration
Portfolio with actual game UI or in-game motion examples
Applications without game-related work will not be considered.
Nice to have
Mobile game experience
Light 3D experience (Blender or Cinema 4D) for effects or accents
