Position: Customer Retention Specialist (Pacific Time Hours) Overview Employer Industry: Pet Insurance Why consider this job opportunity: • Salary of $23/hour with potential for uncapped monthly bonuses based on individual performance • Opportunity to earn Restricted Stock Units that vest over four years • Sign-on bonus of $1500 for those who are currently P&C licensed; training and study time provided for those who need to obtain licensure • Comprehensive benefits package including full medical, dental, and vision coverage at no arenaflex to the employee, and free medical health insurance for your pet • Generous paid time off policy including four weeks of paid vacation and nine paid float holidays • Flexible remote work environment with an option for a hybrid schedule in the Seattle office What to Expect (Job Responsibilities) • Educate and support customers requesting to cancel their policies through inbound calls and emails • Manage high call volumes while balancing empathy and efficiency in a fast-paced contact center • Provide outstanding support by actively listening and investigating customer concerns • De-escalate challenging situations with empathy and professionalism, embodying the employer's core values • Accurately document customer interactions and maintain detailed records in the CRM system What is Required (Qualifications) • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a customer retention or account management role in a fast-paced call center environment • At least 1 year of experience in a customer service role • Proven success in retaining customers and handling cancellations • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Must be able to obtain and maintain active Property and Casualty (P&C) licensing in all 50 states and applicable jurisdictions How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications) • Experience working remotely in a private setting with a reliable hard-wired internet connection • Property and Casualty (P&C) licensing is a plus • Strong technical troubleshooting skills and comfort using technology independently in a remote environment • Demonstrated ability to de-escalate difficult situations and handle sensitive topics with empathy #Pet Insurance #Customer Service #Remote Work #Career Growth #Employee Benefits We prioritize candidate privacy and champion equal-opportunity employment.
