Sr Business Analyst (IAM & Cybersecurity)

Role: Senior IAM Business Analyst Location: [Insert Location / Remote Option] Employment Type: Full-time / Contract (if applicable) Job Summary Our client is seeking a Senior IAM Business Analyst with deep expertise in identity governance, authentication, authorization, and access lifecycle management. The ideal candidate will work closely with stakeholders, security teams, and engineering groups to define requirements, streamline IAM workflows, and support the implementation of IAM solutions that meet business and regulatory needs. Key Responsibilities: • Lead requirements gathering for IAM functionalities, including SSO, MFA, RBAC/ABAC, provisioning, and Joiner/Movers/Leavers (JML) processes. • Document Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), Functional Requirements Documents (FRDs), user stories, process flows, and access models. • Define role structures, entitlement mappings, approval workflows, and certification processes. • Coordinate application onboarding to IAM platforms such as Auth0, Azure AD, Okta, SailPoint, etc. • Support UAT planning, test case creation, and validation for IAM features. • Collaborate with security, compliance, and audit teams to ensure governance adherence. • Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and IAM technical teams, translating business needs into technical solutions. Required Skills & Qualifications: • 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, with 4-5 years focused on IAM. • Strong knowledge of SSO, MFA, OAuth/OIDC, SAML, AD/Azure AD, RBAC, JML, and access governance. • Hands-on experience with IAM platforms such as Okta, Auth0, Azure AD, SailPoint, CyberArk, etc. • Proficiency in documenting requirements, workflows, data flows, and integration specifications. • Strong communication, stakeholder management, and analytical skills. • Experience working in Agile environments and using tools such as Jira and Confluence.
