Data/Solutions Architect

Job Description: • Define and guide architecture for data platforms, analytics applications, and integrated healthcare systems • Evaluate technical approaches through structured analysis and architecture reviews to support modernization initiatives • Design scalable data architectures spanning cloud, legacy, and hybrid environments • Collaborate with engineers and product teams to translate mission needs into technical designs and implementation strategies • Establish architectural standards, reusable patterns, and integration approaches across data applications • Support interoperability efforts leveraging APIs and healthcare data exchange standards • Guide performance, scalability, and security considerations across data and application delivery • Contribute to Agile planning, technical roadmaps, and cross-team architecture alignment Requirements: • Experience designing enterprise data or application architectures in complex environments • Strong understanding of modern data platforms, cloud architectures, and integration patterns • Familiarity with relational and distributed data systems (e.g., SQL Server, PostgreSQL, cloud data platforms, or similar) • Experience supporting analytics or data-driven application ecosystems • Understanding of healthcare or regulated data environments is a plus • Exposure to interoperability standards such as FHIR, HL7, or API-driven integration is helpful • Ability to communicate architectural concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders • Experience supporting federal programs or secure delivery environments is preferred • Performs other related duties as assigned.
