Key Responsibilities

As a Customer Service Associate - Temporary Role at arenaflex, you will be responsible for delivering a distinctive and delightful customer experience, including:
  • Engaging customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services.
  • Resolving customer issues and answering questions to ensure a positive customer experience.
  • Modeling and sharing customer service best practices with all team members to deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
  • Providing customers with courteous, friendly, fast, and efficient service.
  • Registering customer purchases on assigned cash register, collecting cash and distributing change as requested.
  • Processing voids, returns, rain checks, refunds, and exchanges as needed.
  • Keeping counters and shelves clean and well merchandised, taking inventory, and maintaining records.
  • Implementing Company asset protection procedures to identify and minimize profit loss.
  • Ensuring compliance with state and local laws regarding regulated products.
  • Constructing and maintaining displays, including promotional, seasonal, super structures, and sale merchandise.
  • Assisting with separation of food items and product placement as specified by policies/procedures.
  • Providing customer service in the photo area, including digital passport photo service, poster print and creative machine, and suggestive sell of promotional photo products.
  • Assuming web pick-up responsibilities, including monitoring orders, filling orders, and delivering orders to customers.
  • Assisting with exterior and interior maintenance by ensuring clean, neat, orderly store condition and appearance.
  • Complying with all company policies and procedures; maintaining respectful relationships with coworkers.
  • Completing special assignments and other tasks as assigned.

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous customer service experience preferred.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and operating a cash register.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods of time.

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications are preferred:
  • Previous experience in a retail or healthcare environment.
  • Knowledge of store systems and store equipment.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Basic computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office.
