Management may modify the job or require different tasks to be performed when functionally necessary, noting, of course, any legal commitments, including any collective bargaining commitments. * Issue, reissue, and refund traveler tickets * Book, ticket, and confirm flight reservations * Rebook travelers on oversold flights and during irregular operations * Perform traveler check-in and front-of-the-line tasks (excluding curbside), correct oversold seat assignments, and issue upgrades * Issue vouchers and assist with coordinating with contractors for traveler lodging facilities, meals, and transportation; coordinate refuel and refresh * Perform traveler boarding, including ticket lift and ticket lift/check * Operate gate readers/scanners and related duties to include pre-boarding, observing/checking carry-on items and exit line models * Operate jetways/bridges for the purpose of boarding and deplaning travelers * Make boarding and departure gate announcements * Convey domestic/international flight records * Perform traveler service flight close-out procedures * Accept, check, and label travelers' baggage at destination points, full-service ticket counters, and premium ticket counters * Maintain a schedule of flight boarding processes * Perform customer service hands-on training * Process and complete credit card baggage transactions at stands in the ticket counter area and activation stations * Assist travelers with self-service kiosk check-in and baggage handling at ticket counters * Manage lines at ticket counter stands and ticket counters * Clear/confirm international records at booths in the ticket counter area and activation stations * Accept and activate travelers' self-labeled bags at activation stations * Assist clients requiring special assistance or in-station; assist boarding, deplaning, and transporting non-ambulatory travelers, special assistance travelers, or unaccompanied minors * Perform customer service work related to handling regional flights and contractor/ground handling arrangements or agreements * Have standard and predictable attendance on location, including fulfilling any obligatory overtime requirements * Answer and assist during security and emergency situations * Provide gate information to travelers * Provide quality customer service in a professional manner and in accordance with Arenaflex's policies. * Adhere to company policies, procedures, and performance guidelines. * Complete task-related stages of training * Comply with applicable laws (e.g. DOT, FAA, TSA) * Utilize various internal resources/frameworks including during customer interactions * Wear uniform as required by company policy * Reasonable accommodations may be made for qualified individuals with disabilities. * Depending on your airport size, you may also perform the following: * Perform Passenger Activity Control capabilities including air-to-ground communication along with Peak capabilities * Assist international travelers through customs/migration, including baggage re-check * Convey tickets, international flight reports, and customs/migration documents **All You'll Need for Success** Minimum Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree * Bilingual language skills required in certain areas * Relevant valid driver's license as required by local authorities * Must meet FAA criminal history verifications to meet requirements for unescorted access awards to airport security identification display areas (SIDA), if applicable * Must be able to obtain proper airport power and US Customs security identifications, if material * Completion of a pre-employment drug screen, comprehensive background check, or potentially fingerprinting to meet company and security requirements * Must be eligible to work in the U.S. * Preferred Qualifications: * Training and previous professional experience * Working knowledge of Sabre or other Passenger Service Systems * Past face-to-face customer service experience **What You'll Get** Join Arenaflex and take advantage of everything we have to offer: * Medical benefits: From day one, you'll have access to your health, dental, prescription, and vision benefits to help you stay healthy.
