[Remote] Senior DFIR Consultant

AvetixCyber is a leading Cyber Risk Advisory Practice, and they are seeking a Senior DFIR Consultant to lead and support incident response engagements. The role involves conducting digital forensics investigations and helping organizations recover from cybersecurity incidents while providing actionable recommendations to prevent future breaches. Responsibilities • Leading and supporting incident response engagements • Conducting digital forensics investigations • Helping organizations recover from cybersecurity incidents • Working closely with clients to identify the root cause of security breaches • Analyzing attack vectors • Providing actionable recommendations for preventing future incidents Skills • Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent work experience) • Proven experience (typically 5+ years) in digital forensics, incident response, or cybersecurity consulting • Strong technical proficiency in forensic tools such as EnCase, FTK, X1, Volatility, and other relevant software • Solid understanding of operating systems (Windows, Linux, macOS), file systems, network protocols, and security technologies • Hands-on experience with malware analysis, memory forensics, network traffic analysis, and log correlation • Industry certifications such as CCE, GCFA, GCIH, EnCE, or similar are preferred • Experience with cloud environments and related forensics (AWS, Azure, arenaflex Cloud) • Familiarity with security monitoring tools (SIEM, IDS/IPS, EDR) • Expertise in network forensics and network security incident investigation • Strong knowledge of legal and regulatory requirements related to cybersecurity and digital forensics Company Overview • Backed by a network of top VCs, advisory leaders, and elite cyber talent, we accelerate growth through deep market insight and hands-on support.
