Agile Project Manager - Remote

Key Responsibilities: • Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of Agile projects in alignment with business goals. • Facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and other Agile ceremonies. • Collaborate closely with product owners, scrum masters, developers, QA, and stakeholders. • Track project progress using Agile tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps, Trello) and report metrics such as velocity, burndown, and team performance. • Manage project scope, timelines, risks, and resources, ensuring alignment with Agile principles. • Serve as a coach and mentor to team members in Agile best practices and continuous delivery. • Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, providing clear updates and managing expectations. • Identify and resolve blockers, escalate issues as needed, and ensure teams stay focused and productive. • Coordinate with other Agile teams or programs in scaled environments (e.g., SAFe, LeSS). Qualifications: Education: • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Business, Engineering, or a related field (Masters preferred). Certifications: • Certified Scrum Master (CSM), PMI-ACP, SAFe Agilist, or equivalent Agile certification (required or preferred). Experience: • 35+ years of experience in Agile project or program management. • Proven experience delivering complex IT or software projects using Agile methodologies. Skills: • Deep understanding of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, etc.). • Strong facilitation, organizational, and communication skills. • Proficiency with project tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Rally, Azure DevOps). • Ability to lead without authority and foster a culture of collaboration and accountability.
