SEO Specialist – Keyword Research & On-Page Optimisation for Aesthetic / Medical Websites
I run a small marketing consultancy focused on aesthetic clinics and businesses in the cosmetic / medical aesthetics industry.
I’m looking for a reliable SEO specialist who can execute practical SEO work, not produce long reports or generic audits.
The goal is simple:
help websites rank for searches that generate real enquiries.
This role will start with one website, but the right candidate may work across multiple aesthetic clinic websites long term.
⸻
What the work will involve
Month 1 will focus on understanding the site and identifying the most valuable SEO opportunities.
Typical work may include:
• Keyword research focused on high-intent searches
• Competitor analysis
• Identifying new page opportunities
• Creating simple SEO page outlines
• On-page SEO improvements (titles, headings, structure)
• Improving internal linking
• Reviewing Search Console data and identifying opportunities
The emphasis is execution and improvements, not long SEO audits.
⸻
Expected output
Each month we would typically aim for:
• 2–3 new page opportunities identified
• 1–2 pages optimised
• internal linking improvements
• a short monthly update (bullet points is fine)
⸻
Tools
You may work with tools such as:
• Google Search Console
• Google Analytics
• Search Atlas / Ahrefs / SEMrush
• AI tools for research and outlines
Experience with these tools is helpful but not essential.
⸻
What this role does NOT involve
To keep the work focused, this role does not include:
• backlink campaigns
• directory submissions
• guest posting outreach
• large SEO audit reports
The focus is page opportunities and on-page optimisation.
⸻
Ideal candidate
You should:
• understand search intent
• think in terms of pages and topics, not just keyword lists
• work quickly and independently
• communicate clearly
• be comfortable using SEO tools and AI
Experience working with medical, clinic, or professional services websites is a plus but not required.
⸻
Paid test task
Shortlisted candidates will be asked to complete a small paid task.
Example task:
Review a website and answer:
1. What 3 pages should this website create first to generate enquiries?
2. What search queries would those pages target?
3. Which competitor pages currently rank for those searches?
4. Why would those pages matter commercially?
⸻
When applying
Please briefly explain how you would identify the first pages a website should create to generate enquiries.
