About the Role
We're seeking an experienced Full Stack Data Entry Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our ocean product development and sales support team, you'll be responsible for executing strategies that drive growth, enhance service quality, and maximize competitiveness. Your strong skillset and expertise will enable you to make a significant impact on our business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute strategies to support the growth of ocean volumes and enhance the development of the ocean product.
- Work closely with the MD of Ocean to support carrier development, pricing, analysis of carrier service, routings, carrier performance, and supporting carrier service issues.
- Support sales and operations as an ocean subject matter expert, providing guidance and expertise to drive business success.
- Implement and communicate strategies to increase volumes, maximize competitiveness, enhance service quality, and support adherence to the preferred network.
- Assist in implementing pricing programs, reviewing volume targets, and working with the TLM to develop an ocean strategy that enhances the effectiveness of sales to achieve expectations of account development and yield enhancement.
- Communicate both internally and externally to outline strategy, market conditions, and work closely with the MD, Ocean, along with the global trade lane team, sales, and operations to communicate direction and deliverables.
- Direct and indirect customer contact will be required, with a focus on providing exceptional service and support.
- Work closely with product, sales, and operations to ensure compliance with policies and procedures to minimize company risk exposure and enhance service quality and achieve volume targets.
- Conduct regular service reviews to ensure agreed-upon KPIs are being met or exceeded.
- Assist in gathering, analyzing, and reporting information regarding performance and competitive activity; submit reports as required.
- Work with the MD, Ocean, along with the regional ocean management team, to promote the ocean product.
- Support sales and operations as needed.
- Manage annual budget; control, monitor, and report results on a regular basis to achieve budget targets.
- Work closely with marketing to develop external and internal communications specific to the ocean product.
Essential Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent (8) years of experience in international freight forwarding industry, including direct ocean experience in working with ocean contracts, negotiating ocean rates, quoting ocean rates, analyzing ocean rates, and routing.
- Prior ocean carrier experience is a plus.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office apps.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Business-oriented and remarkable business acumen.
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree or higher in a related field.
- Proven experience in ocean freight forwarding, sales, and operations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.

Compensation and Benefits:

- Annual Salary: $57,836.00 - $131,686.00.
