Inpatient Psychiatrist at Phelps Memorial Hospital Behavioral Rehabilitation Unit Northwell Health - Sleepy Hollow, NY Northwell Health's of Behavioral Health is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Inpatient Psychiatrist to join our Behavioral Health team at Phelps Hospital. We are recruiting for a highly motivated Practitioner who has outstanding clinical and interpersonal skills and is able to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team. Addiction training preferred, but not required. This is a truly unique opportunity to join the inpatient team at Phelps Hospital to support a 22-bed 28-day substance use rehabilitation unit which provides acute and around-the-clock care to patients 18 years old and older. We specialize in treatment of adults with co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders. The program provides individualized, goal-centered treatment by an interdisciplinary team of psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, registered nurses, behavioral health counselors, licensed social workers, a behavioral health assistant and recreational therapists. All admissions to the Behavioral Rehabilitation Unit are clinically reviewed and coordinated through our admissions department. General medical care is provided to the patients by the Hospitalist service.
