Supervise and mentor nursing students throughout the externship program. Provide a welcoming and supportive environment for nursing students to learn and grow. Coordinate and facilitate orientation and training for nursing students. Assign tasks and responsibilities to nursing students based on their level of education and experience. Monitor and evaluate nursing students' performance and provide constructive feedback. Collaborate with the nursing staff to create a comprehensive learning experience for nursing students. Ensure that nursing students adhere to all hospital policies and procedures. Create a safe and inclusive environment for nursing students to practice their skills. Facilitate communication between nursing students and other healthcare professionals. Assist in the organization and execution of educational activities and workshops for nursing students. Encourage nursing students to actively participate in patient care and promote a patient-centered approach. Ensure that nursing students maintain accurate documentation of their experiences and learning outcomes. Ensure that nursing students have a positive and meaningful experience during their externship program. Collaborate with the nursing student's educational institution to ensure program requirements are met.
