As a key member of our customer service team, you'll play a vital role in supporting student health products administered by arenaflex. **Key Responsibilities:**
• Provide exceptional customer service to students, parents, and healthcare providers, ensuring a positive and professional experience
• Learn and understand the basics of insurance, including student health insurance products serviced by arenaflex
• Develop expertise in navigating the LuminX claim system, ensuring seamless and efficient claims processing
• Understand and adhere to customer service processes, productivity standards, and queue management protocols
• Provide accurate and timely responses to callers, ensuring that all voicemail messages are obtained and calls are returned within 24 hours
• Demonstrate a sense of urgency and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines and turn-around times
• Comprehend and interpret documents, such as training manuals, correspondence, brochures, and cheat sheets
• Multitask effectively, balancing multiple calls and tasks while maintaining integrity and quality of service
• Communicate issues, concerns, and feedback to supervisors in a timely and professional manner
• Respond to email inquiries in a timely and professional manner
• Perform other duties as assigned or as situation dictates
**Essential Qualifications:**
• A minimum of one year's work experience in customer service, preferably in a health insurance setting, medical billing office, coding with a healthcare provider, or related field
• Effective communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex information in a clear and concise manner
• Patience, resilience, and stress tolerance, with a genuine interest in helping others
• Cooperative and team-oriented, with a focus on collaboration and mutual support
• Mature, responsible, and dependable, with a focus on attention to detail and quality of service
• Above-average computer proficiency skills, with the ability to type accurately and efficiently
• Stable work history, with a commitment to reliability and punctuality
• Excellent phone etiquette skills, with the ability to multitask while maintaining integrity and quality of service
**Preferred Qualifications:**
• Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with a focus on customer satisfaction and retention
• Knowledge of insurance products and services, with a focus on student health insurance
• Certification in customer service, such as Certified Customer Service Representative (CCSR) or Certified Insurance Service Representative (CISR)
• Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) software, such as Salesforce or HubSpot
• Bilingual or multilingual skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse customer populations

**Compensation and Benefits:**
