HR - Administrative Coordinator
About the position
The HR & Administrative Coordinator manages day-to-day HR operations and internal administrative systems. This role owns HR administration including the HR platform (currently BambooHR), onboarding and offboarding, employee records, benefits coordination, and HR documentation. The role works closely with accounting to support payroll and serves as liaison with the third-party HR provider.
Responsibilities
• HR Administration
• Manage onboarding and offboarding through the company HR platform
• Maintain employee records and documentation
• Ensure required documentation is complete
• Support terminations and offboarding
• HR Platform Administration
• Serve as administrator of the company HR platform (currently BambooHR)
• Maintain employee data and PTO records
• Respond to employee account questions
• Ensure records are accurate and up to date
• Benefits Administration
• Assist employees with benefit enrollments and changes
• Support open enrollment
• Answer employee benefits questions
• Coordinate with benefit providers
• HR Systems & Process Management
• Maintain and optimize the HR platform
• Audit onboarding and offboarding processes
• Maintain and update employee handbook
• Ensure HR documentation is current
• Third-Party HR Coordination
• Serve as liaison with third-party HR provider
• Coordinate complex HR matters
• Implement HR guidance
• Maintain compliance practices
• Payroll Support
• Assist with biweekly payroll
• Serve as backup payroll processor
• Support payroll updates
• Company Equipment & Setup
• Assign company equipment
• Maintain equipment records
• Track assignments and returns
• Set up employee logins and email accounts
• Coordinate phone setup
• Administrative Operations
• Support leadership administrative needs
• Assist with administrative projects
• Maintain organized internal systems
Requirements
• 2–5 years HR or administrative experience preferred
• Experience with HR software platforms
Nice-to-haves
• Payroll exposure preferred
• Small business experience preferred
