About arenaflex – Pioneering Excellence in Behavioral Health Revenue Management

At arenaflex, we are dedicated to transforming the financial landscape of behavioral health services. Our mission is to empower providers with precise, efficient, and compliant revenue cycle solutions that enable them to focus on delivering high‑quality patient care. With a growing portfolio of cutting‑edge technology platforms—including industry‑leading electronic health record (EHR) systems and sophisticated claim processing tools—we partner with hospitals, clinics, and community health organizations across the nation. As a remote‑first organization, arenaflex values flexibility, collaboration, and continuous learning, fostering a culture where every team member can thrive while making a tangible impact on the lives of millions.

Position Overview

We are seeking a detail‑oriented, self‑motivated Revenue Cycle Data Entry Specialist to join our remote team. In this role, you will provide critical data entry support for arenaflex’s professional behavioral health revenue cycle operations. Your primary responsibilities will involve entering, reviewing, and adjusting claim data within our integrated EHR platforms—specifically the arenaflex‑branded equivalents of CareLogic, myEvolv, and Meditech. You will work closely with claims specialists, billing analysts, and senior revenue cycle managers to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant processing of behavioral health claims.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately enter claim data, adjustments, and credit balances into arenaflex’s EHR systems, adhering to established data‑entry protocols.
  • Review complex credit‑balance scenarios on claims, perform root‑cause analysis, and recommend appropriate claim actions.
  • Execute bulk claim actions as identified by claims specialists, ensuring efficiency while maintaining data integrity.
  • Analyze denial reasons for timely filing, draft concise explanations, and submit them for write‑off approval.
  • Process secondary claim actions for claims satisfied by primary payers, maintaining clear audit trails.
  • Conduct independent quality‑assurance checks on all entered data and generate reporting summaries for management review.
  • Collaborate remotely with cross‑functional teams via Google Chat, email, and video conferencing to resolve data discrepancies.
  • Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of Massachusetts Medicaid products and other state‑specific insurance regulations affecting behavioral health claims.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives by suggesting workflow enhancements and automation opportunities.
  • Perform any ancillary duties related to data integrity, documentation, or process optimization as directed by supervisors.

Essential Qualifications

  • Education: High School diploma or GED equivalent required.
  • Experience: Minimum of one (1) year of professional data‑entry experience, preferably within a healthcare or revenue‑cycle environment.
  • Technical Proficiency: Demonstrated expertise with Google Sheets, Microsoft Excel, and email drafting; familiarity with arenaflex’s EHR platforms (CareLogic, myEvolv, Meditech) is essential.
  • Behavioral Health Knowledge: Prior exposure to outpatient behavioral health insurance coverage, including Medicaid, is vital.
  • Remote Work Capability: Proven ability to work independently in a virtual setting, leveraging digital communication tools (Google Chat, email, video conferencing) to stay connected with team members.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to review, interpret, and act upon complex claim data, including credit balances and denial codes.

Preferred Qualifications & Additional Skills

  • Experience managing multi‑stakeholder projects with a record of on‑time, high‑quality deliverables.
  • Understanding of federal and state regulatory requirements governing behavioral health claims, especially Massachusetts Medicaid programs.
  • Familiarity with bulk data‑processing tools or scripting languages (e.g., VBA, Python) to enhance efficiency.
  • Strong written communication skills for drafting clear, concise emails and documentation.
  • Continuous improvement mindset with a track record of recommending and implementing process enhancements.

Core Competencies for Success

  • Attention to Detail: Precision in data entry and verification to avoid costly errors.
  • Time Management: Ability to prioritize multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and handle high‑volume workloads.
  • Problem Solving: Proactive identification of discrepancies and formulation of effective solutions.
  • Collaboration: Engaging with remote teammates, sharing knowledge, and contributing to a supportive virtual culture.
  • Adaptability: Comfort with evolving technology platforms and changing regulatory landscapes.
  • Ethical Conduct: Commitment to confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA and other privacy standards.
