Position Overview
The Customer Service Representative & Cashier is the face of arenaflex. Reporting directly to the Store Manager, you will ensure smooth, profitable operations while delivering exceptional service. Key Responsibilities
Customer Interaction & Sales Excellence

- Promote additional items, suggest upsells, and invite customers to return, consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Handle tobacco sales in strict compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, including age verification (“carding”).

Cash Management & Financial Accuracy
- Open and close the store, securing all funds in the safe or register as required.
- Perform cash drops following company policy, keeping the drawer at or below the maximum limit.
- Balance the register at the end of each shift, reconcile discrepancies, and generate accurate closing reports.
- Safeguard cash, merchandise, and store assets through vigilant loss‑prevention practices.
Store Maintenance & Safety
- Conduct daily cleaning of the sales floor, fuel pumps, food prep area, and restroom facilities.
- Restock shelves, refill dispensing machines, and ensure all product displays are tidy and merchandised correctly.
- Adhere to health‑code standards when preparing food and beverages, maintaining a clean prep area at all times.
- Follow all safety policies, wear required personal protective equipment (reflective vest, steel‑toed boots, safety glasses, hearing protection), and report hazards promptly.
- Assist in emergency situations, practicing evacuation procedures and first‑aid protocols as trained.
Team Collaboration & Communication

Essential Qualifications
- Minimum age of 19 years (required for tobacco sales).

- Hands‑on cash handling experience in a retail or food‑service environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel, for inventory tracking and reporting.
