Job Details:
Job Title: Representative, Customer Service/Order Processing
Job Duration: 12 months contract role with possible extension/conversion
Job Summary
Maintains direct contact with customers before and/or after the sale. Supports sales team by developing and maintaining positive customer relations with clients/customers, which can substantially affect service and/or product revenue(s). Works with various departments to meet maintenance services sales goals. Works with customers and/or distributors to receive accurate account of equipment failures and provides reports to management. Focus of work may be in pre-sale or post-sales or both.
Pre-Sale Responsibilities
• Responds to customer inquiries to determine appropriate product literature and pricing schedules.
• Influences production and shipping schedules.
• Recommends price changes based on company/customer relationship.
• Recognizes new business opportunities.
Post-Sale Responsibilities
• Responds to customer inquiries (RMA, status, delivery, etc.).
• Resolves production scheduling and shipping or invoicing problems.
• Determines validity of warranty claims and schedules repair resources.
• Changes production and shipping schedules.
• Recognizes add-on business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
• Process and input purchase orders in an accurate and consistent manner derived via inbound calls, fax, or email.
• Schedule and coordinate deliveries to meet the needs of facilities, sales representatives, and the hub network.
• Utilize problem solving and sound judgement to promote customer satisfaction.
• Process inventory returns RMA’s (Return Material Authorization) and communicate as appropriate.
• Perform Credit & Rebills research and process correctly.

Qualifications
• High school diploma, General Education Degree (GED), or equivalent required.
• Associate’s Degree preferred.
• 2+ years of customer service/support experience in a call center or equivalent environment.
• Ability to organize workflow to meet customers’ needs and handle stressful situations with internal and external customers.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to make appropriate decisions based on department processes.
• High level of accuracy and proven ability to perform detail-oriented tasks and duties.
• Able to efficiently utilize MS Office products including Excel and Outlook.
• Medical device experience is a plus.
