As a Data Engineer on this team, you'll play a crucial role in designing, building, and maintaining the data infrastructure that powers our customer service operations. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to identify areas of improvement and develop data-driven solutions to address them. **Key Responsibilities:** - Design, develop, and maintain large-scale data pipelines and architectures to support customer service operations - Collaborate with data scientists, product managers, and engineers to identify business needs and develop data-driven solutions - Develop and maintain ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to ensure data accuracy and quality - Work with data governance teams to ensure compliance with data security and privacy regulations - Develop and maintain data visualizations and dashboards to support business decision-making - Participate in code reviews and contribute to the development of best practices and standards for data engineering - Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues in a timely and efficient manner **Essential Qualifications:** - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field - 5+ years of experience in data engineering, with a focus on large-scale data pipelines and architectures - Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or Scala - Experience with data warehousing and ETL tools such as AWS Glue, Apache Beam, or Apache NiFi - Strong understanding of data governance and compliance regulations - Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills - Strong communication and collaboration skills **Preferred Qualifications:** - Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field - Experience with cloud-based data platforms such as Amazon Redshift, Google BigQuery, or Microsoft Azure Synapse - Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or D3.js - Experience with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes - Strong understanding of agile development methodologies and principles **Skills and Competencies:** - Strong understanding of data engineering principles and best practices - Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills - Strong communication and collaboration skills - Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment - Strong attention to detail and ability to troubleshoot complex issues - Ability to learn and adapt quickly to new technologies and tools **Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits:** At arenaflex, we're committed to helping our employees grow and develop their careers.
