SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud Professional Services Consultant

Job Title: SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud – Professional Services Lead Location: Montvale, NJ Duration: 12+ Months Position Overview We are seeking a highly experienced SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud Professional Services Lead to drive the end to end implementation of SAP S/4HANA Professional Services solutions. The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in professional services project lifecycle management, order to cash processes, and cross module integrations across SAP Finance, Sales and Distribution, and Materials Management. This role requires strong leadership skills to guide client workshops, manage delivery teams, and ensure successful implementation of standardized cloud processes aligned with SAP best practices. Key Responsibilities • Engagement Delivery Leadership • Lead the end to end delivery of SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud implementation for professional services organizations while ensuring alignment with SAP standard cloud capabilities and industry best practices. • Client Workshops and Requirement Validation • Conduct fit to standard workshops, requirements confirmation sessions, and functional design validation with business stakeholders. • Professional Services Process Implementation • Implement professional services processes including engagement setup, project lifecycle management, resource staffing, work and deliver lifecycle, issue and change management, billing, forecasting, work in progress tracking, revenue recognition, collections, and profitability analysis. • Order to Cash Process Management • Implement and optimize order to cash processes within SAP S/4HANA including project based billing, financial posting, and revenue management. • Cross Module Integration • Manage integration points between Professional Services modules and other SAP modules including Finance (FI), Controlling (CO), Sales and Distribution (SD), and Materials Management (MM). • Data Migration and Integration • Lead data migration planning and execution for SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud environments and validate data conversion processes. • Testing and Quality Assurance • Oversee functional testing, user acceptance testing preparation, and validation of end to end business scenarios. • Governance and Risk Management • Manage program governance including RAID tracking, project reporting, issue escalation, and decision management. • Stakeholder Alignment • Ensure alignment across business stakeholders, technology teams, and third party system owners to avoid integration conflicts and project delays. • Solution Design Validation • Validate functional design, system configuration, testing outcomes, and cutover readiness for cloud deployments. • Organizational Change Management • Guide change management initiatives to ensure adoption of new professional services processes and system capabilities. • Agile Program Delivery • Lead agile project delivery including sprint planning, backlog refinement, PI planning cycles, and cross team coordination. • Client Relationship Management • Serve as the primary point of contact for client delivery activities and ensure clear communication throughout the implementation lifecycle. Required Skills • Strong expertise implementing SAP S/4HANA Professional Services on Public Cloud environments. • Minimum 3 to 4 full lifecycle implementations of SAP S/4HANA Professional Services on Public Cloud. • Deep understanding of Order to Cash processes and project based service delivery. • Strong expertise in SAP Project Systems including engagement setup, resource management, billing, and revenue recognition. • Strong experience integrating Professional Services modules with SAP Finance, Sales and Distribution, and Materials Management. • Strong experience with SAP data migration processes for S/4HANA Public Cloud. • Understanding of RICEFW-lite architecture within SAP Public Cloud constraints. • Strong knowledge of SAP Activate methodology and agile delivery frameworks. • Ability to translate business requirements into standardized cloud processes with minimal customization. • Strong consulting and stakeholder management skills. Preferred Skills • Certification in SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud – Professional Services. • Experience with SAP Business AI capabilities for professional services workflows. • Experience integrating SAP with CRM platforms such as Salesforce or PSA systems. • Experience supporting global professional services organizations with project based billing models. Managerial Skills • Strong leadership and communication skills for managing global delivery teams. • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders across business and technical domains. • Strong analytical and decision making capabilities in SaaS based environments. • Experience managing agile or hybrid delivery programs. • Financial understanding of project margins, WIP, billing cycles, and profitability analysis. Experience Required • Minimum 10+ years of experience implementing SAP solutions in professional services environments. • Proven experience leading large scale SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud implementation programs.
